Prince William has seemingly revealed his weakness as he was spotted nervously tapping his wife Kate on the arm after she picked up a fan’s baby and professed that she loves babies.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were on their final leg for the County Day in Cambridge when “broody” Kate Middleton excitedly approached a Royal fan and asked the mother if she could carry her baby girl.
As the pair began chatting at the Newmarket Racecourse venue, Prince William could be seen nervously pacing behind Kate’s back and gripping his hands tightly.
“I love babies,” Kate told the mother while cradling the baby girl in her arms.
While the Duchess seemed to be in no hurry, William awkwardly approached her and tapped her arm to let her know he wanted to move on.
“It’s time to go,” Prince William quietly told his wife, prompting Kate to slowly return the baby and walk away with her husband.
After the hilarious video went viral, viewers were quick to suggest that the prince likely believes that the three children he currently has with Kate are more than enough.
“Catherine loves babies. It’s making William a little nervous. He’s nervous with three. Another one might tip him over the edge,” one person wrote.
“Especially if it’s another Louis,” another replied in a reference to Louis’ shenanigans.
“Poor William. He gets very nervous when Catherine starts getting broody,” the third joked.
One fan added: “Aw so cute, and look at William desperately telling Catherine it’s time to go.”
