According to the prince’s friends, William continues to “mourn” his relationship with his younger brother while still believing that he had disrespected the Queen with his actions.

“William alternates between grieving for what he has lost and feeling really, really angry about what his brother has done,” one source told the publication.

“He truly loves Harry and feels he has lost the only person, aside from his wife, who understood this strange life of theirs. But he believes there are things you just don’t do. And Harry has 100 percent crossed that line.”

Another friend claimed that William still holds a grudge over Harry’s disrespect for “the Queen and their family.”

While the rift between the two brothers might not be getting any smaller, one insider praised the bond that Kate and William have formed.

“They honestly couldn’t be happier as a couple. You can’t get a cigarette paper between them,” the insider said.

“They are so tight, just inseparable. When you speak to William, he’s actually quite puritanical in his attitude when he talks about his parents’ marriage and what went wrong.

“It hugely affected the way he approached his own relationship with Catherine and why it took so long for him to settle down. He wanted it to be with the right person and forever. William is still very protective of his wife.”

The report comes shortly after it was revealed that Kate and William are moving from Kensington Palace in west London to a four-bedroom home closer to the Queen who resides at Windsor Castle.

“Kate and William were very keen for a modest home to start their new lives in Windsor. Adelaide Cottage fits the bill because it is a four-bedroom home and they do not need any more as they have no live-in staff,” a source told The Sun.

“They had no other demands than a pleasant family home close to schools and the Queen.

“They were adamant they didn’t want anything too showy or anything that needed renovating or extra security so as not to be a burden on the taxpayer.”
