Prince Harry is set to return to his homeland to promote his upcoming book titled Spare.

The memoir, which is set to hit the shelves on January 10 after delays caused by the Queen’s death, is believed to contain plenty of controversial statements and bombshell allegations feared by the Royal Family.

As the release of Harry’s book approached, various sources suggested he might fly back across the pond to promote his new work in his native country firsthand.

Meanwhile, senior royals, including King Charles and Prince William, are bracing for the potential jabs that Harry might take at his family and the monarchy in his 416-page publication.

“Put it this way, it’s not going to make for a relaxing family Christmas,” one insider told The Mail on Sunday.

“The book is much worse than people think,” another source added.

While the memoir’s publishers, Penguin Random House, insisted the book revolving around Harry’s upbringing and the life after he met and married Meghan Markle features “raw unflinching honesty,” royal author and expert Tom Bower suggested the book’s release will mark the ‘make or break’ moment for the Montecito couple.

“This book is really make or break. I imagine that King Charles has been warned that any retaliation won’t be pretty,” he told The Sun.

Bower went on to suggest that King Charles could take drastic measures – such as taking away Harry and Meghan’s Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles – in retaliation to any allegations that might harm his family and the monarchy.

“All that King Charles can really do is to withhold the titles for his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet. Ultimately, I suppose, he could take away Harry and Meghan’s titles as well, but that’s pretty drastic,” he added.

“I don’t know what else he can do. If it is as bad as I think it is, then Harry and Meghan have gone fully rogue.”

The royal expert further suggested that senior royals might be forced to “break ties” completely with Meghan and Harry if the memoir sparks an uproar.
