Thanks to his friend and top primatologist Jane Goodall, it was now also revealed that the prince long wanted to raise his kids in Africa where they could run barefoot with other children.

While the world-renowned primatologist didn’t elaborate on her comment, Harry is known to have strong emotional and social ties in Africa where he previously took Meghan before their engagement and for their honeymoon.

According to the reports, Harry’s love for Africa previously prompted royal courtiers to draw up plans for the Sussexes to have special royal roles in the continent. These plans, however, were never realized after Harry and Meghan left their lives as working royals to pursue a more independent life in the States.

While it is not clear whether the Duke and Duchess would still be willing to move to Africa after making a home of their $15 million Montecito mansion, Meghan could welcome the move to pursue her alleged ancestral roots.

“I just had my genealogy done a couple of years ago, I’m 43 percent Nigerian,” she said.

“I’m going to start to dig deeper into all of this because anyone that I’ve told, especially Nigerian women, are just like, ‘What?’”
