Tragic reports are speaking about a man from Australia who was reportedly pulled out of the water after he went missing while on a holiday in Thailand.
The 41-year-old was identified as a native from South Australia who was reported missing by his partner on May 7 in Phuket, as per local media outlets.
Three days after that, authorities were alerted by the chief lifeguard at the Freedom Beach who spotted a body drifting nearly 20 meters from the shoreline during his morning patrol period.
After arriving, officers from the Karon Police Station reportedly found the remains motionless inside the water, amid the strong surfing conditions.
As per the Asia Pacific Press, first responders were seen making use of ropes to secure the dead before carefully pulling the remains onto a local beach.
The cops shared how they found a man drifting motionless on the water while donning a pair of black underpants.
The family had grown sick trying to find the victim, but have now been notified about the terrifying and tragic outcome of the search after the remains were identified.
‘We believe the sea currents are too strong for him to swim back to land,’- the officer mentioned.
