A family from Oklahoma is grieving the loss of their 18-month-old twins, who drowned in the backyard swimming pool.
Jenny Callazzo shared more details about how her toddler twins were inside the pool, as confirmed by the police. The first responders found Locklyn and his sister, Loreli, on the ground and immediately began the first emergency response. The hearts of the kids had stopped beating, and at the time, they did not have any pulse either.
The mother shared more details about how she was homeschooling at the time, and her eldest child was with her, but the younger ones were playing in the living room.
The grandmother left the back door open, and that was an exit into the swimming pool, she continued. The mother added that the longest that they could have been inside would be 10 minutes or so. But despite being transported to a nearby hospital for emergency care, they were pronounced dead.
The family did not have a pool fence, and that gave the kids open access, which is a major security hazard. The battalion chief could not mention whether there was an alarm on the back door leading out to the pool or not.
The family confirmed that they are now living a nightmare after the tragedy.
