Since then, the Cleveland Police has reportedly accepted their mistake, adding how it was quite ashamed of the act, and even offered to pay for the damage that had occurred. But how exactly did the incident unfold in the first place is a question on so many people’s minds.

Well, a 36-year-old mother from Thornaby went out shopping with her 10-year-old who reportedly left a very real-looking figurine inside the car. The duo went inside the departmental store and when they returned, they saw plenty of cops and a large crowd standing near their vehicle.

“I was left humiliated in front of so many people, included my 10-year-old. I just couldn’t process what was going on,” revealed the mother.

“My daughter had enough of carrying out the realistic-looking baby doll so she decided to leave it in the vehicle in a booster seat at the backside. We were gone for hardly 15 minutes and when we returned, we saw this,” the mother added.

The mother also went on to claim how the cops were even probing a report relating to child neglect as they broke into the car. But the officers claim that they thought they saw a ‘newborn baby’ but little did they know it was a very real appearing doll that cost 60 Pounds and was named Elliot by the 10-year-old girl.
