It was a nightmare come true for one traveling mom after she was reportedly escorted off a plane by the police with her young son by her side.
The woman says she was removed from the plane because they deemed her outfit to be too inappropriate for travel.
Sharing her nightmare experience via TikTok, the woman recorded the event’s footage in detail and now it’s making the rounds on social media.
In the footage, the woman is being told to calm down by police officers who reportedly escorted her off of the Alaskan Airlines flight due to her attire.
The shocking clip quickly turned into a massive debate with many pouring in their opinions on what they thought of the bizarre ordeal.
“I was harassed about my attire, I had to put my shirt back on,” the woman is seen mentioning to the officers.
And that’s when the officer interrupts the passenger and asks, “So, did you have it off at one point?”
And that’s when the mother opts to lift up her t-shirt boldly and state, “Yeah, I had this on, it’s a sports bra. They asked me to put on a shirt to cover it up,” she adds.
The woman further explains how she was forced to put on a shirt and that’s exactly what she did, but they approached her again, stating how she couldn’t wear this since her tummy was showing and hence was deemed inappropriate for travel attire.
“The flight attendants approached me thrice on the flight and kept on complaining about me. They didn’t like my crop top,” the mother reiterated.
In the end, the officer mentions how he was just trying to get the woman’s side of the story, against what the crew members were saying. He even reassured her that there was nothing criminal about it, and told her to relax.
“I followed the policy regarding their dress code, I look up everything when I’m traveling,” the mother concluded. Thankfully, she was allowed to return to the flight but many felt that she was detained for no good reason. What do you think?
