Plus-size model Tess Holliday is sharing her views regarding body positivity.
The star shared during her recent interview with the UK’s Sunday Times more on the matter.
The 34-year-old star says she finds it bizarre that now critics are telling her what she can and cannot do. She also does not understand why she owes any sort of reaction to those calling her fat and size all the time.
She deemed those perceptions as insults and hoped someday someone could realize where she was coming from and how that’s not okay.
She also mentioned that words do matter at the end of the day and there’s great power in these terms. ‘I am ok with being called fat and plus size but I’m not okay with people shaming me as fat in a derogatory manner, she continued.
The mother of two has clashed in the past after some dubbed her for showing off her curves on magazine covers. They slammed her for promoting the obese lifestyle as it was dangerous and how her size was a health hazard for obvious reasons.
