A skydiving firm where a mother and her instructor reportedly plunged to their death has reportedly shut down for good.
The company has ceased trading and left thousands horrified over the dangers of such an activity that many consider an adventure on bucket lists in life.
Skydive Buff Ltd, which is based in Dunkeswell Airfield near Devon, has informed clients that it will be putting the firm into compulsory liquidation.
The firm arranged a tandem parachute jump featuring one of their top instructors and a leading client, which went horribly wrong.
The victims who passed away in the act included 48-year-old Belinda Taylor and her instructor named Adam Harrison, who was only 30. The incident took place on June 13 of this year.
The duo passed away inside a field after their parachutes failed to open. A British Skydiving Board of Inquiry is currently investigating the matter.
In recent times, the firm had stopped responding to calls, and clients claimed that bookings that were already made in advance had been cancelled as a result of that tragedy.
Now, the company has sent out an email to those clients, informing them about the decision. They added how the decision was made by the board, and it would come into effect immediately.
