Pierce Brosnan Celebrates His 70th Birthday Together With His Wife And Mother For The Second Night In A Row


Pierce Brosnan and wife Keely were spotted celebrating the actor’s birthday for the second night in a row.

The Hollywood legend, who just turned 70, was seen enjoying festivities at Nobu Malibu together with his wife on his big day.

A day later, the James Bond star and his second wife were once again seen out and about as they dined at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica together with Brosnan’s mother, Mary May Smith.

Upon exiting the high-profile Italian restaurant, Pierce and Keely were seen smiling from ear to ear as the 59-year-old documentarian clutched her husband’s arm.

For the occasion, the actor donned a navy-blue suede shirt over brown pants and a tucked-in black top. Keely dazzled in a white slip dress with a matching eyelet cover and a scarf.

“Happy Birthday my darling @piercebrosnanofficial! Wishing you a blessed, bountiful, and adventurous new trip around the sun. It’s not how old you are – it’s how bold you are in life. I love you with all my heart,” Keely wrote in a tribute to her husband of 21 years on his birthday.

Meanwhile, the Irish actor expressed his gratitude for his family saying: “At this time in life as I adventure to my 70th year…I feel joy, happiness, and creation. Art and my family have played a big part.”

Elsewhere in his interview with Vanity Fair, the Mamma Mia! star, who is also a self-taught artist, opened up about his passion for art and his creations which are currently on display in his solo art exhibition at a Los Angeles gallery.

“I have been painting since 1987 and it’s very therapeutic. Painting has helped me find my way in life. Whenever I feel angst, I’ll go to the canvas. It brings me comfort and it’s just so joyful,” he said.

“I never thought about having my paintings going out into the world, but Keely documented it all and said, ‘Let’s try for a show.’ She has a strong hand in the work, in the celebration of the work and the love that she has for the work.”
