A recent picture shows Eric Dane, who is best known for his role in Grey’s Anatomy, appearing so frail and needing mega assistance as his amyotrophic lateral sclerosis progresses, the New York Post added.
The 52 year old star was seen at the Toronto airport with assistance as he struggled to be helped from a vehicle and into a wheelchair, appearing thinner than his past pictures.
Dane went public with his ALS diagnosis and vowed to fight until the end after noticing serious muscle weakness that he noticed in his right hand.
This prompted a medical evaluation, and his absence from the Grey’s Anatomy reunion at the Emmys was soon said to be due to a serious fall that left him in the hospital and with a serious head injury needing stitches.
He expressed serious regret and disappointment at missing out on this opportunity to reconnect with former colleagues during the tribute. Despite such challenges, Dane is said to be having serious trouble with staying positive and present in this moment in time.
Insiders mentioned how he wishes to live in the moment and not be mourned prematurely. He wants the love of all but also wants to be able to fight through the challenges coming in his direction.
