Two doctors and their kids were among the more than 240 people who tragically lost their lives on the Air India Flight AI171 this week.

A shocking new image showed the family of five smiling on board the plane before it crashed.

Air India shared on Thursday that 241 victims aboard the flight had passed away after the airline, which was en route to London from Ahmedabad in India, crashed five minutes after it took off.

The plane crashed into a medical hostel at a time when the employees were busy engaging in their lunch break.

A new image of the family showed the victims, including Doctor Komi Vyas, snapping a selfie with their three kids.

Everyone appeared so happy to be flying, but little were they aware of the terror that awaited them. Both Vyas and his wife Joshi were happy as their children, one daughter and twin sons, looked up to exhibit huge smiles to capture the perfect glimpse. That image is all their loved ones have to cherish after the tragic crash.
