Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson has reportedly passed away at the age of 79.

The news was shared by the reality television star’s own daughter-in-law, Korie Robertson, who is married to his son, Willie Robertson.

A tragic Facebook post was released sharing the heartbreaking news on Sunday, which is months after his own family members took to social media to confirm his Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis.

‘We celebrate today that our father, husband, and grandad is now with the Lord’- the post read.

The family has requested privacy during this mourning period and prayers from his fans from all over the globe. They know that he touched many people’s lives and was impacted by his presence, including his life saved by grace, his bold faith, and his desire to make religion a part of their lives each day.
