Marzia and Felix got married in 2019 after years of dating and they currently live in Japan where they are set to expand their family by welcoming their first baby this month.

With the birth of his child at the doorstep, Felix decided to step down from his vlogging business and focus on fatherhood.

“Just wanted to say, it’s getting very close now. Very close to becoming a dad. I’m very, very, very excited. I don’t know what it’s gonna be like. I don’t know if I’ll have time to make videos. Is it gonna be chaos? I don’t know,” he said.

“But I imagine I won’t upload for a while. So, just wanted to say thank you for all the support in these vlogs. We’re so happy you guys have enjoyed them and we can share a bit of our life here. But I think, for now, we might take a little break until we come back again.”

In a follow-up, Felix teased his fans saying it was time for a gender reveal before saying they were expecting a Fish.

“If you know what this means then you know the gender,” he said before Marzia shared a series of hints implying the couple is expecting a baby boy.

The hints included photos showing the pair posing with koi fish-shaped steamers which are used to celebrate Children’s Day in Japan. Traditionally, however, the holiday in Japan was known as Tango no sekku, a day celebrating male children.

“The story goes that Koi (carp) fish was chosen as a symbol for Boys’ Day because the Japanese consider it the most spirited fish, full of energy and power, that it can fight its way up swift-running streams and cascades,” one fan explained.

Another said the clues were already there in Felix’s latest video.

“The hint was in the YouTube video Pewds posted. The video started with a blue screen and ended with one as well. Either way congrats you both,” they wrote.

While we don’t know the baby’s gender for certain, we wish nothing but the best to Marzia and Felix during this exciting time.
