Tennis superstar Pete Sampras has left many stunned after he was seen making a rather shocking appearance in public.
The 53-year-old was spotted making a quick morning coffee run in Beverly Hills in California, on Tuesday.
Sampras wore a dark gray Nike t-shirt and gray shorts while he carried two drinks in a beverage holder in one hand and a shopping bag in the other.
The athlete was last seen publicly in December of 2024. Before that, he made a rare public appearance at the 2019 BNP Paribas Open, where he played with tennis ace Novak Djokovic in an exhibition match.
Sampras, also known as Pistol Pete for his serve, is famous for being one of the biggest and greatest superstars of all time.
He started his professional tennis career in the year 1988 when he was just 16 years old. Sampras retired in the year 2002 after winning the record 14 Grand Slam titles and ending the year ranked as the ATP No. 1 player in the world from 1993 to 1998.
The Hall of Fame player who was inducted in 2007 was famous for winning seven Wimbledon titles, five US Open Championships, and two Australian Opens throughout his illustrious career.
