Pete Davidson appeared to have started getting his Kim Kardashian-inspired tattoo removed from his upper chest.
The 28-year-old actor and TV host was spotted wearing a suspicious bandage under his neck while on the set of his new show, Bupkis, on Monday.
The bandage appears to be located in the exact same place where the former Saturday Night Live host previously got inked in a tribute to his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
‘MY GIRL IS A LAWYER,’ Pete’s tattoo read.
After eagle-eyed viewers spotted a bandage where the tattoo is supposed to be located, rumors saying Davidson is trying to get rid of the tattoo following the couple’s shock split quickly emerged.
As Page Six confirmed, however, a source close to the actor claims that the bandage was “not related to removing the lawyer tattoo.”
The source also confirmed that Davidson is indeed removing some of his tattoos, but it remains unclear if the Kim Kardashian-inspired inking has made it on the list.
The rumors come just two months after the couple split following nine months of dating.
Sources suggested that long distance, hectic work schedules, and a huge age gap all played a role in Kim and Pete parting ways.
“They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship,” a source previously told E! News.
While Davidson may get rid of his neckline tattoo should he choose to, there will be no easy way to remove Kim’s name after permanently branding it into his chest.
As Kim previously explained on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 28-year-old also had her name burned into his chest to make it look “like a scar.”
