The world was stunned to learn that the celeb would now be switching gears and helping an elderly woman fight for her right to keep her residence.
The woman who is 93 in age made headlines when she spoke about how she was being denied the right to live in her own residence. She added that she’s been a fighter in her own life.
And this is not something that she was going to let go of so easily because it was her right to live on the property that was passed down to her for generations.
The property in question has been with her since the time of the civil war. The woman named Josephine Wright adds that she would be on the roads if this did happen and her story became viral online when people did agree that what was happening was wrong.
And among those that read her message was billionaire Tyler Perry. He adored her fighting spirit and told her not to back down because he was entering the picture and would ensure the land wasn’t stripped away from her.
He addressed her message through his social media account on Twitter. He called out all of those trying to take away her property and said that she needed to continue with this fighting spirit.
“Please never back down. Tell us how we can help and where to show up. I’ll be there personally to make sure you are never denied your rights”- he replied.
And as you can imagine, the way he handled the situation was so beautiful that people couldn’t help but applaud him. Despite having no links to the woman, he vowed to fight until the end and people found that to be the most heartwarming gesture of them all.
