Republicans now want to rename the JFK Center for the Performing Arts after Trump


A bill shared by the Republicans has been proposed, and it would be used to rename the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington.

The news has left many concerned, as they feel naming the iconic location after Donald Trump might not be a great decision after all. The fact that the bill was being introduced by Representative Bob Onder under the Make Entertainment Great Again Act had so many confused.

They felt it was a great cultural figure and patron of the arts. Separately, an amendment to rename the Kennedy Center’s Opera House after Melania Trump was another major point worth mentioning.

Some felt it was time that people put their feet firmly on the ground and speak up before it’s too late. So far, the votes reached were 33-25. Donald Trump previously replaced board members at the Kennedy Center and stated that he would make sure the institution isn’t woke.

But this matter is not going to die down too easily. Kennedy’s grandson criticized those efforts of renaming and suggested that Trump is obsessed with being bigger than JFK, and that isn’t something to be proud of.
