At least 15 people have lost their lives so far, while more than 25 children remain missing as per reports from local media outlets.

They did encourage residents to take shelter in place and not make attempts to travel that could impact their safety during this moment in time.
Those located near creeks, streams, and the Guadalupe River were said to move to higher ground with severe warnings immediately.

The flooding arose alongside the Guadalupe River, which runs from Kerr County to San Antonio Bay as per the outlet. They shared how the river experienced a large and deadly wave that gave rise to this devastating aftermath. The NOAA described the flooding as life-threatening and disastrous, with many homes being flooded as a result.
