Rapper Flo Rida is not paying his son’s medical bills, the boy’s mother has confirmed.
The news shocked the star’s fans and followers who were seen praying and offering the celeb wishes and prayers for the child’s safe recovery. But hearing this news has really turned the whole story around, leaving them heartbroken.
Yesterday, the star rapper issued a statement that updated his son’s health condition. He spoke about how grateful he was that his son was being looked after by the best medical teams of doctors and experts. He was out of danger and now, the entire process linked to rehabilitation was underway.
The injuries he sustained after plunging six feet to the ground were just too severe but making it out alive left doctors stunned.
But it did appear to be a little fishy when he requested this matter to remain private, which could have meant that there were not so great relations between him and the mother of his child who does not live together.
In the past, we’ve seen how she was quick to come into the public eye to reveal that the celeb is not keen on visiting his little son, who happened to be just 16 months old at the time.
In the same way, it’s not confirmed if he does indeed pay child support and if he was present at the hospital when the six-year-old was battling for his life and in critical condition at the ICU.
Meanwhile, a new lawsuit was filed this past week that detailed more about the incident and how the child fell and suffered major injuries to his brain and fractures to other body parts including his pelvis, hands, and feet.
The child’s mother says it is already hard dealing with a special needs child and not having the funds to pay for his treatment, despite his father being so famous in the industry just showing what type of a person the celeb was.
For now, the star’s reps have refused to comment on the matter.
