A woman is going viral online after putting forward her unique story. And now, she’s asking the world if she was in the wrong or not after how she behaved with her boyfriend.
Jackie Li who hails from Hawaii says her former lover was a great partner to her and while the duo was in love, one argument or incident is all it took to tear the couple apart forever.
According to Li, her boyfriend had the audacity to charge her $7 for the cold medicine that he purchased for her and that just was not something that she was looking forward to.
The couple had been in love for four years and this one incident was all it took to break them up.
“He did pick up some cold medicine for me. I was very sick. But I felt the gesture was really until he asked me to pay for it”- she continued.
The next day, she was awoken by a sudden frequent on Venmo and that is where a request had been placed for the price of the medicine that she had taken. As you can expect, it really blew her mind.
Li who is also a renowned creator on TikTok says that this was not what she had expected by miles. “This was my partner. How could he?”- she continued to rant.
The boyfriend sent her a request for payment of the $7 Dayquil he bought for her.
This video of her rant is now going viral as she records the exact moment the incident happened and her reaction to the ordeal too. She even went on to add how she loves those partners and relationships that don’t obsess over each and every single dime that’s spent on one another.
