A Christian pastor and his flock have divided opinions after taking over flight mid-air by singing religious songs to the passengers.

The bizarre incident took place 30,000 feet in the air presumably on the way from the United States to Germany.

In a video shared on social media by Jack Jensz Jr., a Christian pastor and the founder of Philadelphia-based Kingdom Realm Ministries, a man with a guitar is seen standing in the aisle and singing a song about Jesus along with a group of young people.

As of this writing, it remains unclear if this was a standard commercial flight and whether all of the passengers were Christian or not.

It is also not clear if the group obtained permission from the crew and/or the other passengers before bursting out into a mini mid-air concert.

While some people sang along and filmed the action, others didn’t look amused at all, prompting social media viewers to condemn the singers and accuse them of forcing their beliefs onto other people.

“Blue shirt guy is two seconds away from jumping out of the plane,” one person wrote.

“I’m a Christian and I don’t believe in enforcing this on anyone, pray in private in your own time,” another said.

The third suggested: “I’m Christian but there’s definitely a time and place.”

Weighing in on the debate was also Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar who tweeted: “I think my family and I should have a prayer session next time I am on a plane. How do you think it will end?”

While the majority of people agreed it was inappropriate of the group to disturb other passengers, some sided with the pastor who shared the footage online.

“I don’t find anything wrong with this video. On the contrary, I have mega respect for the people playing and singing. Preach the gospel to all the world,” someone wrote.
