BREAKING: Man Who Lived Inside Paris Airport For 18 Years & Inspired The Movie ‘The Terminal’ Featuring Tom Hanks DIES


The man who hailed from Iran and inspired the movie, ‘The Terminal’ has reportedly passed away.

According to reports from local media outlets, his name was Mehran Nasseri and he is believed to have lived in Paris’s Charles de Gaulle Airport between 1988 till 2006.

This is the same individual who reportedly inspired Tom Hanks’ blockbuster film called, The Terminal, who died in the airport.

At first, he was stated to be in a very intense legal limbo but he stayed there by choice after he was reportedly provided with legal and refugee papers to do so. So as you can see, his story was very unique and different from all others out there.

So after getting back to the airport, he went about taking up residency at Terminal 2F, and that’s just a few years where he took up a shelter in Paris.

Police and medical teams were soon called to the terminal during the later hours of Saturday. And that’s when it was described that he reportedly suffered from a major heart attack. Moreover, he couldn’t be saved as confirmed by an airport authority.

Born in the year 1945, he lacked the necessary residency papers after arriving in France. And that meant he had been stranded at the airport for all these years.

Year after year, he slept on a red colored plastic bench. This is where he made friends with other members of the airport staff. He even showed in the facilities provided for airport staff. And he even kept a diary that described his day-to-day activities.

The staff even went about nicknaming him, Lord Alfred. And he soon became this mini-celebrity that everyone knew about and raved about.
