Donald Trump as indicated that he would be considering a pardon for disgraced rapper Sean Diddy Combs, though no formal request was confirmed.
Trump shared during a recent press briefing that while he is yet to speak to Combs in years, he would certainly be staring at the facts, loud and clear if someones has been mistreated. This is regardless of whether he personally likes them or had any kind of past with them.
Combs is currently facing serious federal felony charges, which indicate sex-trafficking, racketeering, and transporting people for the sake of prostitution in the southern district of New York.
Trump shared no formal pardon request was made but also acknowledged that people were very close to asking. Granting a pardon to Combs would be politcally controversial given the nature of the charges and the high profile status. It has since then drawn attention from both media and legal observers.
The White House has yet to share any kind of details on a possible pardon. This news comes as media outlet TMZ mentioned how Diddy has chosen to appeal his jail time punishmen,t and some fear that it might actually happen as early as this week.
This left Americans outraged who feel the star was already granted such a short prison sentence and to have it removed altogether was unfair.
