Now, his latest comments are causing a stir online. And they came nearly a month after Combs was acquitted of trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges of transportation to engage in prostitution following a high-profile federal trial in New York City.

Trump then detailed more about how his personal ties to Combs were impacted. This is despite the fact that they had been photographed with them during several events dating back to the late 90s.

The President mentioned how Diddy seemed like a nice guy to him. He did not know him well, but when he ran for office, he was so hostile.

‘We are human beings and we don’t like to have things cloud our judgement. But when you knew someone and you were fine and then you run for office, and he made some terrible mistakes by saying some things’- the president added.
