A mother from Texas is sharing her absolute heartbreak after witnessing her son pay her late husband a tribute that was unlike any other.
The mother says she just couldn’t hold her emotions back after seeing how her son missed his dad so much that he was getting ready to meet up.
Her husband died in the year 2020 and explaining to her child was the hardest thing that she’s ever had to do. “My tears just cannot stop falling. Kids are so innocent. I love my baby but he does not realize that his dad will never be coming back again!”- the mother adds.
She spoke in detail about how the child got ready and packed his belongings to take a trip to heaven. According to him, he missed Dad so much that wouldn’t be able to carry on without seeing his face.
So when she arrived in his room, his things were being put into a suitcase. She got worried and asked where he was going and why. And that’s when he spoke straight from the heart.
The incident has left her devastated. It’s just a matter that she’s finding hard to come to terms with. Moreover, Ashley Irwin added how her boy named Tyler was so confident that he would find his dad there and he would be just as excited to meet him as he feels the same way.
But what really got him super choked up was going through the items he ended up packing. Each piece was just so memorable and sentimental. Before going to sleep, he asked if she could put his bag up because it was too heavy for him to lift.
“Mom tomorrow is a big day. I need all the rest in the world. I will be seeing the man that means the most”- he added. And as you can imagine, the tears were non-stop after that.
“I’m going to heaven and I need to make sure my dad has everything he needs. He has been kind to us, now it’s our turn to be kind to him”- the son adds. But what exactly did the bag include?
Well, for starters, there were superhero masks because his dad would always be a superhero. Next, she found some darts and baseball gloves as her dad adored sports. But another thing that her to tears was a bottle of her husband’s favorite cologne. That just brought back thousands of memories for her.
