Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a mother of five children who passed away after she was reportedly crushed by a huge pile of packages at the UPS facility in California.
Police shared the incident that arose at the UPS packaging facility on Atlas Road in Richmond, California, at about 4 pm local time, as per local media outlets.
A preliminary investigation by the Police reportedly indicated that an employee was loading packages alone inside the cargo trailer when several packages fell onto them.
A co-worker called for assistance after locating her. Her family was called in for identification, and her name was shared as Shelma Reyna of Richmond. Her former husband, Juan, told KTVU how she had been working at the facility since last year’s fall. ‘I feel so horrible about this that I began to cry. I cannot believe it- he continued, calling it a bad nightmare that nobody should ever go through.
Reyna left behind five of her kids, as shared by a loved one who organized a GoFundMe account for the deceased’s family following her sudden death.
They shared how Reyna was a healthy person, and all of this just does not make sense, adding how it’s super sad that things came to an end in this manner.
