President Trump has made it very clear to the world that the only way by which the relations between the US and Ukraine can be salvaged is if Zelensky issues a public apology.
Trump explained how an apology is just what is needed to fix the broken relations, adding how Zelensky was completely out of line and showed disrespect to not only him and Vance but the entire nation.
The news comes amid mounting calls for the American President’s state visit to the UK to be canceled.
Trump says the first move to restoring relationships is this, despite the fact that Zelensky has refused to apologize because he feels he’s done nothing wrong.
The UK is trying hard to work as a bridge to mend the strained relations between both countries as fears grow that due to rising tensions, Ukraine would no longer be supplied money and weapons, putting the NATO alliance in turmoil.
Trump demands that Ukraine make the first move to improve the relations that he deemed to be fractured at this moment in time.
Meanwhile, the UK has no issues with Ukraine and was quick to welcome Zelensky early with open arms. King Charles also met with the Ukrainian leader, offered him tea, and assured him of a loan for more weapons.
However, the US Secretary of State made it clear that the Ukrainian leader needs to apologize for turning the whole meeting into a public fiasco that wasn’t necessary.
