The actor and director faced cadid remarks from his children regarding his parenting style and techinque. His daughter, 23 year old Ella Stiller mentioned how she cannot even remember anyone being around when she was growing up.
Meanwhile, his 20-year-old son Quinlin Stiller added how parenting often appeared like a final priority for him.
Stiller admitted that while he always believed that he was doing better than his own dad, hearing his children talk in this manner really did make him realize that he repeated some of his similar mistakes.
He reflected more on the exact moments when Quinlin reacted so sadly after being told that her dad would be far away for months, filming a movie.
This moment helped him realize that his career had overshadowed his family.
