For years, tens of thousands of visitors made their way to the giant aquarium. This is where they stood in awe, staring at the beautiful creature. It was trained well by its masters and it was doing some great things to entertain the crowds. But deep down inside, it shouldn’t have been in such a tiny enclosure.

Many netizens were excited that the authorities made the right decision this time and proved how they still care about wildlife in today’s time where so many species are leaning toward extinction.

But not everyone was convinced. They did not see the point of moving her after so many years. And then critics had another very important thing to say.

According to them and so many other wildlife experts, this was not the right decision. The entire process of shifting such a huge creature at this age may not be in her best interest.

They said she may not make it out alive and hence this was similar to embarking on a death sentence for her.

The decision was made during a recently held press conference in Miami on Thursday.

Sources revealed that if Lolita is indeed moved, she will be kept inside a bigger enclosure that was filled with fresh water. This would assist her with the entire process of rehabilitation.
