Oprah Winfrey has spoken out in the wake of the Queen’s death and called for peace between Harry, Meghan, and the Royal Family.
The talk show host and TV producer weighed in on the happenings overseas as she claimed the Montecito couple and Harry’s family have a clear opportunity for peacemaking now that they’ve gathered to pay their final respects to Queen Elizabeth II.
Oprah, who back in 2021 orchestrated the bombshell interview with Meghan and Harry, expressed hopes that the family can come together and heal.
“I think in all families – you know, my father passed recently, this summer – and when all families come together for a common ceremony, the ritual of, you know, burying your dead, there’s an opportunity for peacemaking. And hopefully, there will be that,” the 68-year-old said in an interview with Extra.
Following the Queen’s passing, her family united in grief with all her four children standing vigil side by side.
Though the rift between the Sussexes and the Royal Family didn’t get any smaller, Prince William invited Meghan and Harry to join him and Kate on the walkabout outside Windsor Palace in a show of unity after the Queen’s death.
The ‘fab four’ appeared side by side for the first time since 2020 when Harry and Meghan left their lives as royals in the UK to enjoy a more liberal life in California, US.
Following Megxit, the couple spoke out in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in which they made several serious accusations against the Royal Family.
Among other allegations, Meghan insisted that a ‘racist’ member of the Royal Family wondered how brown Archie’s skin would be when she was still pregnant with her first child.
Meghan further insisted that Kate made her cry over a dress and that she felt suicidal during her life in the Palace.
