President Trump announced early Friday that a suspect in the Charlie Kirk’s assassination was turned in by his father, with the suspect being identified as Tyler Robinson.
The 22-year-old local from Utah was reportedly full of hate. “I think with a high degree of certainty, we have him,”- Trump shared with Fox and Friends while appearing on the popular morning show. However, the President’s lips were sealed, and he failed to give any more details.
Shortly after that, a press conference was carried out, and that’s when the killer was ID’d, and he even confessed to the crime, with his father being the one to turn him in to the cops.
The suspect’s dad is believed to have relayed the news through a minister who was involved with the authorities.
“I hope he is going to be found guilty, and I hope he gets the death penalty. What he did was inhumane and unacceptable. Charlie was a fine person, and he did not do anything to deserve this!’- the president had mentioned.
Today at 10 pm, the Utah Governor confirmed the suspect’s arrest some 33 hours after Kirk was gunned down.
