There are just a few days left for Princess Diana’s 25th death anniversary but despite so much time passing since the tragedy, a lot of controversial claims continue to come forward.
Now, we’re seeing famous royal autobiographer mention some shocking things about the Princess of Wales and how she felt about Camillia.
According to Andrew Morton, Diana knew really well what she was getting herself into. She knew about Charles’ past lovers and how he still had feelings for her.
“She saw how he looked at her. She knew everything and that was before they even got married!”- Morton explained.
“Even on her wedding day, the young royal was obsessed with Charles’ lover. For someone to accept a man like that takes a big heart. And she was willing to take the risk”- he explained.
Diana and Charles’ wedding was one of the biggest televised events of all time. The country’s government had declared a public holiday as billions around the globe saw the pair tie the knot. But even on that big day of her life, the 20-year-old was just obsessed with Camilla. She was at the wedding too, seated inside a grey-toned pillbox.
But no one knew this. Andrew says that it was a top secret that Diana felt Charles was still in love with Camilla. And she even considered calling the grand wedding event off.
Andrew continued that Diana had mentioned in her own words how the dreams of her wedding day had been crashed, thanks to another woman.
“As I walked up the aisle, I was in search of Camilla. I knew she was there, of course, I looked for her!”- the words Diana proclaimed.
The fact that these revelations are coming out now, just a few days before her 25th death anniversary is very interesting, explained some critics. And while Diana may be gone, her words continue to tell a story that very few, if any, knew about.
