Michelle Obama is proving to the world that she does not let grudges go away too easily, and her latest interactions on her podcast are proof of just that and more.
The former first lady shared how shocked she felt when former television host Ellen DeGeneres invited her to the show and forced her to do one strenuous activity, which she was appalled by. After all, she was the First Lady of the USA at the time.
Obama recalled the incident, including how she did not wish to get started on how awful she felt. ‘I had a frozen shoulder a few years back, but that didn’t stop one person from thinking it was okay to invite me to their show to do the unthinkable’- she continued.
The shocking decision included asking her to do pushups, and that took her by surprise. There was a point where Obama brought up how DeGeneres even challenged her to do a pushup contest on the talk show.
While it has been 13 years since this was last discussed, it never fails to surprise her for obvious reasons.
‘I mean it has to be ridiculous for anyone to think that this is appropriate!’- she shared.
