President Trump has reportedly deployed two US nuclear submarines near Russia after foolish and inflammatory taunts took center stage.
The matter has escalated to serious threats and rhetoric with a leading Russian official over his deadline to end Russia’s war with Ukraine.
The latest move of the nuclear submarines to various regions seems mostly symbolic in the sense that the US already has a fleet of dozens of nuclear-powered submarines that are constantly ready to strike in the event of a major conflict or war.
Still, it does heighten tensions once again after Trump shared that he was moving up his deadline for Russia to agree to put an end to the war.
In case Russia failed to strike a peace deal by the end of next week, Trump shared how he would be imposing a punishing secondary sanction on countries that trade with Russia directly.
Trump also made the choice to roll out submarines after Russia’s former president stated that the sanctions of the US were a clear step towards war and were incensing the President.
We’ve already seen Russian head of state, Vladimir Putin, share his two cents on the matter, including how the US threats will not be taken lightly.
He similarly added that it was time that Iran be prepared for more attacks from the US and Israel, who plan to attack its nuclear plants again, calling it an unacceptable move and a violation of territory.
