The US has just rolled out a terrifying warning for the airspace around Venezuela as Trump dispatched a B-52 nuclear bomber for a demonstration.
The FAA sent out the notice to Air Missions NOTAM at 1:08 pm ET, putting pilots on alert as well as airlines and air traffic controllers of a potentially dangerous situation in and around Venezuela.
Just a few hours after this, the Air Force shared that last night, a B-52 bomber, along with KC-135 Stratotankers and fighter jets, carried out a bomber attack demo in the Southern Command Area of operations set up to deter illegal drug runners from Venezuela.
The FAA notice warned of a worsening security situation and heightened military activity in and around the country.
The notice shared how threats were posing a major risk to planes at all altitudes and also the airspace of Venezuela and parts of the southern Caribbean. Trump refused to rule out all the strikes on Venezuela amid the huge buildup of US troops in the Caribbean since the Cold War years.
