Meghan Markle is opening up for the first time about why she left her job as a briefcase girl on the hit show, ‘The Price is Right’ while making some more confessions during her recent podcast episode.
The Duchess of Sussex was seen shedding light on how hard it was to try and make people understand that she was more than beauty and actually had brains.
Many people were definitely shocked to hear how Meghan Markle made an appearance on the hit show, ‘The Price is Right’ and also for ‘Deal or No Deal’ for NBC.
And although this was around 16 years back, she is super grateful for the experience as it helped her pay her bills. “But I didn’t like how it made me feel in the end”- she went on to mention.
Meghan Markle opened up some more about how she and other women were only on the show for their hot looks and nothing else. It was their pre-requisite and she couldn’t stand it one bit.
Not only did the woman have to bear padded bras to make their boobs look bigger but they were also forced to undergo spray tans too. And there was a point when Meghan Markle felt suffocated. This is when she opted to finally call it quits.
After looking back at her past and thinking people thought she was only good for looks, Meghan hopes that her own daughter Lillibet would have a much better life and aspire to be in a greater position with better opportunities than her.
But Meghan did also speak about a few other things on her mind. This included how she did often judge people for being rich and famous. And today, she realizes that shouldn’t be the case.
