Covington Teen Nick Sandmann Who ‘Refused To Be Canceled’ Reaches ‘Settlement’ With NBC Amid Controversy


Nicholas Sandmann has reportedly reached a breakthrough settlement with NBC in regards to the controversy relating to the Catholic High School.

According to local media reports, the settlement was reached on Friday as NBC Universal came on board with the terms and conditions mentioned in the agreement.

For those who may not be aware, the teen from Kentucky was reportedly lambasted in 2019 by the media over a particular confrontation that took place at the March For Life that was held in Washington DC.

Now, the 19-year-old claims that there is a mutual understanding between both parties as a decision has been reached, adding how the terms of the agreement cannot be disclosed for confidential reasons.

The shocking news was announced via the teen’s account on Twitter where he stated the following: “At this time, I would just like to release the fact that NBC and I have reached a settlement, but the terms are confidential.”

Just after the harrowing incident in Washington DC in 2019, so many media outlets, as well as Democratic politicians, were quick to bash the teen over his fight with a senior citizen that was Native American.

The incident took place after the mega march at the Lincoln Memorial.

Sandmann was reportedly recorded on the video donning one of Donald Trump’s famous ‘Make America Great Again’ hats while sending out smiles at activist Nathan Phillips. At that moment, Phillips happened to be beating a drum while chanting at him in close proximity.

Many media outlets were quick to bash the incident as one that was racially charged in regards to the role played by the White teen. However, Sandmann and a number of other witnesses denied those claims.
