Meghan could be seen moaning about the amount of hard work, effort, and dedication it takes to go on such work tours, leaving her other priorities behind. And according to her, the work was not easy and she did expect to receive some form of financial compensation for the work.

In October 2018,  the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could be seen arriving in Australia for the first major tour as a couple and as you can imagine, there was a lot of pressure attached.

At the time, the duo was visiting Fiji, New Zealand, and Tonga. And it was a huge treat for the locals.

Valentine Low mentioned in her book how it was a whole different ballgame outdoors. Meghan was not happy about the matter and she failed to see the point of a royal tour without any payments attached.

“She failed to see the point and what they were doing. There was a reason they were there and it was supposed to be an act of kindness and generosity. They were inspiring personalities, not there for money”- the author went on to mention.

Money had nothing to do with it but maybe the actor didn’t realize that. “I can’t believe I am not getting paid for this. Not even one particular occasion”- she continued.

So as you can see, things did take a sour turn and many can only wait for October 6 as that’s when the book gets released to the public.
