Mariah Carey’s former lover and partner of seven years, Bryan Tanaka has reportedly broken his silence over the couple’s relationship.
The famous backup dancer for the iconic singer says he has spent seven incredible years with the star and each one of them has been even more beautiful than the other.
But with time, feelings change and the pair are now going their separate paths after calling the relationship quits and leaving so many fans devastated over the news.
Moreover, Tanaka says he has found it so hard to accept the news, and gathering the courage to make a public statement on the matter was never easy for him. Therefore, he is now doing it with mixed emotions.
The news has left a lot of people so heartbroken as they were rooting for the couple since day one and hoped they could one day see the legendary singer tie the knot again. But that certainly wouldn’t be happening now, at least, after the pair jointly decided to decide on going their separate ways.
Insiders have spoken about how the pair were just not on the same page, as far as their long-term goals were concerned. Tanaka is said to have waited long and many years to become a father but having more kids was just not something singer Mariah Carey happened to be interested in.
Tanaka says he is so grateful to have shared some of the best memories with Mariah and each moment has been a treat for him. He leaves with a broken heart but he knows that they both agreed that this would be the best step forward for each of them and their lives.
“I vow to hold all of our memories and artistic collaborations so close to my heart. It’s been a pleasure knowing her but I think we just don’t belong together”- he continued.
