The woman is asking if marriage and intimacy always have to go hand in hand because, in her situation, it’s just not happening.

She knew beforehand that people would judge her or think that something was wrong with her. But in all reality, that’s far from the truth. According to her, she’s not celibate and she is not lying.

As you can imagine, people just had a really hard time wrapping their heads around the matter. They failed to see how anyone could be married and never have spent time in the bedroom with their own partner. And that too, for a good 19 years.

What was even more shocking is how she said she is very happily married to her man. Moreover, she added that she wouldn’t want it any other way than this.

The pair enjoys their own alone time, sleeping separately and occasionally in different bedrooms. And while it sounds bizarre or abnormal to some, she’s all about enjoying her married life and they cannot wait to celebrate 20 years of togetherness.

A lot of people were quick to jump in and provide their two cents on the matter. Moreover, they spoke about how they are missing out on all the fun. And if they were to engage in intimacy, it would have further strengthened the love between them.

Others asked why that was so because it was unheard of in today’s day and age.

The couple feels that it’s healthier this way and they have never forced one another to do something that they’re not into. And intimacy happens to be just that.
