A video has shown up online that appears to display a bearded man celebrating and looking in the direction of the gunshot, just moments after Charlie Kirk was assassinated.
Footage shared widely online and that was soon ripped from television feeds, showing a young individual wearing the color black and a backwards baseball cap pumping his fists in the air and cheering in the immediate aftermath of the shot that killed the young conservative activist on a college campus in Utah on Wednesday afternoon.
He was seen filming and shouting ‘USA, USA, USA!’- with both fists in the air and mirroring President Trump’s rally cry after he was nearly assassinated at the rally in Butler, Pa, last summer.
He appeared to be looking in a backward direction from where the shot came from, leading some to wonder if he was perhaps related to the gunman.
The unidentified individual with long hair and a beard remained standing while other spectators threw themselves to the ground in the wake of the gunshot, which rammed into Kirk, a father of two, in the neck while he spoke at an event at Utah Valley University.
