NFL star Travis Kelce claims the NFL coverage is really focusing so much on Taylor Swift when she is seen cheering for him on the stands during the Kansas City Chief games.
The famous sportsman was quick to add how Swift has been present for him at his previous two games and he does understand why some NFL fans are not happy with broadcasters.
The news comes after furious fans called out the singer for ruining the sport that many spend thousands on for ticket purposes so they can enjoy a thrilling game. But what they’ve been getting instead is a Swift-themed event and they’re not a fan of it.
Others added how watching her cheer with her A-list crowd can be cringy and they don’t want anything to do with it.
Therefore, Kelce added how he does understand why fans were upset and it was time for broadcasters to do their job well and that meant focusing on the real sport rather than on the couple.
Many fans claim it’s insane how many times the camera keeps cutting to get a glimpse of the star during her Sunday night game at New York Jets.
Other than that, it was mentioned during an episode that arose on the famous New Heights podcast that they might be overdoing it a bit for sure. And that when it’s linked to his situation, he’s not a happy man because some things are better kept private.
He further mentioned how the cameras want views and doing this might have more people tuning in but it needs to stop and things should remain private.
On the game that took place last Sunday, the NBC cut to Swift a whopping 17 times and it was just a tough pill for many to swallow for obvious reasons.
