A woman spoke on Reddit, detailing more about her experience online. She really wanted the world to know that sometimes, a little respect and good customer service go a really long way. And you simply cannot expect anyone or everyone to simply reward you with money, especially if it’s something that’s complementary like a tip.

Therefore, as you can imagine, netizens were divided by the story and were even more curious to learn more about how she responded to such bad behavior that was simply uncalled for.

Some netizens claim they’re against the tipping culture and feel that a job that has hourly wages shouldn’t make tips compulsory as they are already adding delivery charges. Whether or not the driver gets paid through that is a whole separate issue.

But the customer is already paying for food, taxes, and delivery charges, and for anyone to demand a tip on top of that is absurd.

But others shed light on the matter and how growing economic issues had people behaving wild and that tip was one of the only ways they were making a decent living because that’s how bad wages currently were.

“If you are too lazy to buy your own food and want it delivered then you should have the decency to tip!”- another person commented.

While the debate could continue for hours, the fact that the rider showed disrespect really had the customer outraged, and even if she wished to provide a tip, she was now going to cancel because such behavior is outrageous. What do you think?
