Elon Musk will be attending Donald Trump’s first cabinet meeting despite not being appointed or elected member of the government.
During a press briefing on Tuesday, the White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Musk who was accused of buying the presidency will be seen during the first gathering of Trump’s cabinet on Wednesday.
When asked if the billionaire would be attending, he spoke to the president before coming down here.
Elon considered he is working alongside the president and the respective cabinet secretaries and would be attending tomorrow. This would be just so he could talk about the DOGE’s efforts and how all the cabinet secretaries were identifying abuse and waste in the respective agencies.
This comes after Leavitt avoided questions from the press about who is really in charge of the Department of Government Efficiency.
She mentioned how there are plenty of career officials and political appointees who assist in running DOGE daily.
