The movie Barbie has really caused an uproar at the box office.
The film did better than what many people had expected and before we knew it, this was dubbed as an absolute blockbuster for obvious reasons. But wait, the claim to fame did meet plenty of criticism, especially from men who simply refused to watch anything with a title of this sort.
The reason being is simple. People have always associated the term with young girls and without even seeing the trailer, they automatically assume that they’re less of a man for taking the time to enjoy the cinematic experience of this film.
Now, a new poll has people talking. Most women revealed how a major red flag in a man would be someone who refuses to watch the Barbie movie. And in case you’re still with one, it’s high time you run.
The incident has sparked a major frenzy on social media and people cannot stop raving about how good this movie was. From the storyline to the screenplay, not to mention the thoughtful message, people were in love.
As per the poll, 53% of women mentioned how men not watching this movie or simply refusing to give it a go are a clear danger and it wouldn’t be wrong to mention that they’re a huge red flag.
The reviews so far have been fabulous and both lead actors for Barbie and Ken did an amazing job, as per critics’ opinion.
And it’s no wonder that this movie failed to fall back against fellow arch-rival of the industry, Oppenheimer, which did surprisingly well.
The movie is all about bringing female narratives to life and really going on from there. And the way this film empowers women is just amazing.
