Tragic reports have confirmed that a twin-engine aircraft has crashed shortly after take-off from the Parmillo Airport in Tachira state in Venezuela.
Witnesses shared how the plane struggled to gain altitude and then tilted sharply, struck one of its wings on the ground, and then erupted into a massive fireball.
Two people on board the plane were killed. At least two more were believed to have survived with serious injuries. The crash is currently under investigation as preliminary reports suggest a possible tyre explosion or other kind of mechanical failure during take off phase.
