A mother has made plenty of heads turn recently after claiming she would rather have her children suffer from head lice than get rid of them.
The news sparked outrage across the board as people were in disbelief at how any mother would ever find this kind of behavior to be alright.
The mother says she and her kids have been brought up with the concept of veganism and that means refusing to eat anything that is alive and killing anything that’s living.
She adds that as horrible as it may sound, taking the life of anything that is breathing is a crime, and that includes insects too. So when she was confronted by her child’s teacher at school, that’s the justification she provided them and they were mortified.
The daughter who is just seven in age is forced to live with terrible and unhygienic conditions and many feel that’s just not alright. The school’s authorities have intervened and oped to include social services too if things don’t go as planned.
“This is a young girl that we’re talking about. No one deserves to live like this. It’s just baffling as to how a mother would ever wish for something like this on her own daughter”- the school mentioned in a statement.
The school adds how this behavior is just uncalled for as the mother was not only setting up the wrong example for her own kids regarding the concept of veganism but also promoting unhealthy behavior by neglecting her child’s general hygiene and wellbeing.
As the mom starts to get more criticism on the behavior, she has opted to justify the matter by adding how her way of handling the matter is combing the lice and nits into the garden, instead of just killing it. What do you think?
