 “I’ve Been Told I’m Raising A Snowflake!”- 23-Year-Old Mom Who Practices ‘Gentle Parenting’ SLAMMED For Being ‘Too Nice’ With Her Kids


A mother who enjoys practicing gentle parenting has gone on to speak about how she’s been accused of raising a snowflake.

This next story is about a young mother who revealed how much hate she gets from others for the parenting style she chooses to adopt. And now, she’s opening up about it because it’s getting a lot to handle.

23-year-old Namwila Mulwanda who hails from Essex revealed that she has a beautiful 17-month-old daughter. Both she and her partner are doing a pretty good job at raising their child but according to others, they’re really struggling and may have to face a lot of trouble in the future.

“We’ve adopted a more gentle parenting approach”- she explained. For them, it’s so important for their little girl to communicate and express what’s on her mind and what she heard. They claim it’s important to do so or else their emotions can get bottled up.

One of the other reasons why is linked to how the mother herself was raised in a very strict household. She adds that saying no was close to impossible for her on so many occasions. And that just really affected her mental health.

But she’s learned from the mistakes that her parents have made. Therefore, she doesn’t want to repeat history and vows to begin disciplining her 17-month-old in a more sensible and logical manner.

Whether their child is expressing a tantrum or not, they hardly ever say no. And that’s why others feel they’re setting her up for disaster because the real world doesn’t function like that.
